Projects#

Here’s some projects I have been working on lately.

Discord Bot in Rust - A discord bot written in Rust, with some web capabilities using actix-web + sveltekit.
rsapcupsexporter - A successor to my previous version written in python. This exports APC UPSD information from the cli tool and exports it as a prometheus endpoint.
random-image-server - A straightforward Rust + actix-web webserver that will provide a random image from a filesystem of images. I wanted to have an easy way to self-host images to use in some of my custom css files.
blocked-agh - A server written in Python using starlette that creates a workflow for regular users of an internet to request sites to be unblocked. It uses ntfy.sh to send notifications to the admin to automatically apply changes to an AdGuardHome instance.
dotfiles - My dotfiles to work between my linux home and mac work environments. Includes some windows stuff too for the occasional windows 11 usage.
hako.moe - Currently not a public project, but it is a temporary file hosting service written in Rust + svelte. Link coming soon.

Here’s some notable projects I worked on the past, which helped shape my career.

ChitogeBot - A bot using discord.py, which was my first personal project. I started this before discord had an official API and it was what got me deep into learning python and into the industry. At some point, this bot was a part of 600 servers, but discontinued once discord created stricter requirements for bots on >300 servers.
mb8600 - A project that was born out of my frustration from the bad quality service from XFINITY. My home had a continuous issue with keeping a stable connection, and the quality would degrade over time. This helped observe my modem at the time to find patterns of behavior.
